Picasso on the Ridge Canvas Print

A wild mustang stallion known as Picasso stands atop a sagebrush ridge. Photographed at Sand Wash Basin in northwestern Colorado's high desert. The Sand Wash wild mustangs are descendants of the horses of the Spanish Explorers. They have called the open lands of the west their home for hundreds of years.

I have long enjoyed traveling with my husband across the United States to photograph and enjoy wildlife and nature. A retired elementary school teacher, I hold a masters degree in Arts Integration. My retirement from teaching means more time to spend photographing the wildlife and landscapes of the Rocky Mountains and the American West. Sharing the stories of the wild mustangs of the west is a particular passion of mine. To spend time photographing wild horses is a dream come true. Recently, we moved to Bella Vista in NW Arkansas.
