When the famous Catalpa Tree in the Cornell University Botanical Garden had lived its life and needed to be cut down, garden staff arborists and the garden curator turned it into a work of art, cutting a window out the center and installing a wind chime. It is a work of art, and such a peaceful spot to stop and reflect on the nearby bench.
I have long enjoyed traveling with my husband across the United States to photograph and enjoy wildlife and nature. A retired elementary school teacher, I hold a masters degree in Arts Integration. My retirement from teaching means more time to spend photographing the wildlife and landscapes of the Rocky Mountains and the American West. Sharing the stories of the wild mustangs of the west is a particular passion of mine. To spend time photographing wild horses is a dream come true. Recently, we moved to Bella Vista in NW Arkansas.
